Welcome to a small nice red cottage on beautiful Ekerö. Here you have a nice time with forest, experiences and swimming in Lake Mälaren up close. The cottage is cleverly planned. Inside the cottage there is a kitchenette and two single beds that can be moved to a double bed. Shower and separate are in an annex right next door. Dishes are made outdoors for the birds to sing, very wonderful in the summer! There is a terrace with awning and outdoor furniture with a view of the forest without visibility, here you can see both forest animals and horses riding past on the forest path. There are two bicycles available for rent on site from the owner for wonderful bike rides on the islands. Visit Rosenhill Äppelmusteri, about 3 km. There is also a nice café and a farm shop. In the summer, various events are also offered here. Jungfrusund marina with its restaurants and nice environment is also a nice excursion destination located approx. 8 km away. If you would rather take the bus, it goes quickly to Stockholm. Take the opportunity to take a bath at Södran's bathing area. Lovely swimming area, communal with kiosk and nice beach, approx. 6 km. Feel free to stop by Drottningholm's castle where our royal couple have their home in the beautiful old castle with wonderful gardens to stroll around. From the center of Ekerö, there is an archipelago boat all the way to Stockholm, a fantastic opportunity to see Lake Mälaren's beautiful coastline and archipelago. This cottage is perfect for two people who want to experience Stockholm up close with everything Sweden's big city has to offer. Ekerö has beautiful places, hiking trails and beautiful baths.
