From the ruined castle in the upper village you have a lovely view across the rooftops with their red tiles, which are characteristic of the region.
There are many characteristic Provençal villages round Salernes. The Mediterranean, with luxurious beach resorts such as Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez, is 55 km from the residence. Water sports enthusiasts will be in their element at the Lac de Sainte-Croix (23 km) or the famed Gorges du Verdon (30 km).
