Welcome to the holiday park Ghiacci Vecchi, a well-tended green holiday park at 2 km from the Tuscan Coast. This is the area between Livorno and Piombino with the best beaches in all of Tuscany. This spacious holiday park consists of 74 holiday homes, some of which are located in an old restored farmhouse. There are two swimming pools, one for the children and one for adults. Both are fenced in and have a terrace with loungers. There is plenty of room for everyone, whether it is to splash around the pool or relax in the sun with a good book. Spread over the green terrain you'll find playground equipment, table tennis, you can even rent bikes. There is also a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.
In this part of Tuscany you can visit several archeological sites dating back to the Etruscan area. The most well known is the village of Populonia (11 km), a port town founded by the Etruscans. Nowadays the village is part of a archeological park where a lot can be seen, from everyday objects to burial tombs. A more light-hearted daytrip would be a boat trip to the gorgeous island of Elba. You'll take the boat from Piombino (15 km) and within an hour you'll set foot on the quay of the charming capital of Portoferraio, where you can visit Napoleon's house. Elba has many gorgeous deserted bays and a cobalt blue sea.
There are also plenty of nice places to visit on the mainland. What would you think of the quaint medieval village of Massa Marittima (40 km), offering a spectacular view over the surroundings.
This spacious holiday park consists of 74 holiday homes, some of which are located in an old restored farmhouse. At Ghiacci Vecchi we offer various semi-detached bungalows, which are all nicely furnished and air conditioned. One holiday home is suitable for two to four people (35 m², IT-57021-20), the other one is perfect for four to six people (50 m², IT-57021-21). Both houses have a private, partly covered, terrace with seats.
