FOOD AND DRINK
Our in-villa cook is available to prepare breakfast each day, or delicious meals for lunch and dinner on your request, including Chinese cuisine as she used to run a restaurant in Hong Kong. There is a great infinity pool and a snug bale/gazebo where you can spend time just soaking up the atmosphere of the Bukit. The villa has some wonderful views out to the ocean and an almost guaranteed glowing red sunset every night.
THE VILLA
A set of white flagstones above a great fishpond lead you through a cosy green garden space and into the heart of Villa Amanie. The views when you first enter the property are breath-taking as the elevation above the land gives an unbroken, sweeping panorama of the land below.
BEDROOMS
Villa Amanie has 4 dedicated bedrooms, all with en-suites. Both upstairs master bedrooms have a double jacuzzi bath and great views out to sea in the distance. The ground floor double is a pool view and the rear twin has a garden view. We can add an extra single bed to the twin room if you have an extra guest and we can also use the sofa bed which is on the upstairs lounge/terrace. All areas have fan and a/c for your comfort.
CHILDREN
Villa Amanie is well equipped for infants with cots, high chairs, car seats, plastic cutlery and plates etc. Youngsters normally love the fish and turtles in the pond. At Villa Amanie the staff are excellent with kids, and we can provide some day-care and babysitting if adults wish to have an evening out [a small gratuity of U$5/hour for babysitting after 7pm is added to the final bill].
LOCATION
Being up on the Bukit means amazing views out over the cliffs, across the golf course and gives you remarkable sunsets every night. However a car or taxi is required to go most places as it is not comfortable to walk from Villa Amanie to any shops, beaches or restaurants as we are at the top of a hill. However we are just a 2 minute drive to the nearest supermarket at Ungasan junction, and cars and taxis are quick and easy to arrange.
For golfers there are two championship quality golf courses between 10 and 20 minutes from the villa.
BEACHES
There are many great beaches a quick drive away inc. Balangan (8 minutes); Jimbaran (10 minutes) and all other beaches around the Bukit are no more than 15 minutes' drive away (Padang Padang; Geger, Bingin, Dreamland etc.). Some beaches are suitable for swimming, others for paddling or surfing or exploring rock pools, and
some beautiful hidden coves too, including the location for the film "Eat, Pray, Love" .
PRIVACY
Guests have complete access to the entire villa, and the villa is entirely private for you and no other guests are able to access the villa while you are there. Our villa manager is great and staff are at the villa 24 hours per day to help you any way you wish, including providing meals and drinks, babysitting, arranging massages and tours etc.
