Small-scale holiday park Park Eksel is a new (2021), car-free holiday park located in a green area of the Limburg Kempen in Flanders, 14 km southeast of Lommel.
Holiday Park Park Eksel is located not far from the Belgian - Dutch border, in a wooded area, near the Bosland nature reserve. Bosland offers many opportunities for sports and recreation. Various facilities can also be found at the holiday park itself. All of the following facilities mentioned are still under construction untill April 2023: The children can enjoy themselves in the indoor and/or outdoor playground. You will also find a mini-supermarket for (small) daily shopping. There is a launderette and a nice restaurant with a terrace. If you do not bring your own bicycles, you can rent them at the reception. Charging points for both electric bicycles and cars are also available.
In addition to the "infinite" forest, you will also find various lakes, dunes and heathland in the area. A fantastic area for walking and/or cycling routes. Mountain bikers have also been thought of. They can enjoy various mountain bike trails. Cycling between the treetops is a unique experience. A circular, 700 m long path leads you through the treetops at a height of 10 m. This way, you can see the forest in a completely different way. Of course, there are also various opportunities to enjoy a snack and a drink. Great day trips include Speelbos Pijnven (7.5 km), TODI, snorkelling or diving among freshwater fish (20 km), GlowGolf or the Climbing Forest in Weert (24 km), or the prehistoric village in Eindhoven (35 km), or the Kleine-Brogel Air Museum near the active air base of the same name (9.5 km.). Also visit the cities of Hasselt (27 km), Turnhout (58 km), Genk (30 km), Maastricht (51 km) or Eindhoven (37 km). Each city has its own atmosphere and character, but all offer many culinary surprises and great culture.

This modern, comfortable, semi-detached bungalow is located in the car-free Park Eksel holiday park, and is ideal for a vacation with friends or families. Outside, the bungalow has a terrace and comfortable garden furniture. There is also storage. There is one parking space per bungalow in the central parking lot of Park Eksel.
The centre of Hechtel - Eksel is 1.5 km away where you can shop for friends or families. At the same distance, you will find bakery and a restaurant offering delicious meals and drinks. For stocking up your essentials, head 1.4 km towards the supermarket. There are many other interesting tourist attractions that are worth visiting.
The bungalow has a trendy design and has a living room with a TV on the ground floor. The well-equipped open kitchen includes an oven and a dishwasher. There is also a two-person bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet. You can reach the first floor via the stairs in the living room, and there you will find the second two-person bedroom. The beds are single box-spring beds, some in a double set-up.
Park Eksel also has six-person bungalows for rent.

Specifics
• From 4 September, maintenance on the outer walls of the enclosures will take place. On 7 and 8 September, the fences between the stays will be refurbished. In the first week of October, the renewed outer walls will be painted. We will do our utmost to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.
