Description
La maison en Bois is a beautiful and unique holiday home located in Brouzet-lès-Quissac (Languedoc-Roussillon, Occitane). The recently built holiday home (2019) has a timber frame and insulated with straw bales, finished with earth and lime. The holiday home for 8 people is located in a natural environment, is particularly ecological and overlooks a huge private swimming pool.
The house is surrounded by a spacious wooden terrace and continues to the garden of over 2000 m2. The garden is bordered by several majestic centenarian oak trees. The spacious fenced swimming pool (12x6m, open from 01/04 - 15/10) has been treated naturally by Phyto-purification. This means that it is fed by a waterfall of clear water in which you can bathe. The ideal place for rest and relaxation.
The holiday home is completely on the ground floor and has been partly designed for wheelchair users to move around freely, especially the large bathroom is easily accessible, but less so in the shower room. Which provides better accessibility for people with reduced mobility. The spacious living room and open kitchen overlook the greenery thanks to the spacious sliding windows. This holiday house is also a true paradise for children, both indoors and indoors: trampoline, small football cages, chicken coop, games, comics, ... There is also a very sweet kitten on site that likes to get some love now and then. Food is provided.
The Cevennes are very close and the beautiful beach of Espiguette in Grau du Roy is about 40 minutes away. Plenty of excursion options from this beautiful location.
The house is not air-conditioned, the construction and ecological insulation make it possible to maintain a pleasant temperature in the summer. Heating is done via a large wood burner. This holiday home is an example of a nice balance between people, the environment and nature.
There is a super sweet kitten in the house and garden. It is therefore kindly requested to feed them during the stay with food that is provided.
