Please note: If the dates you are looking for appear booked, please contact us. During the school year we use the cottage as a remote work station, but we also rent to others during this time.
We are a diverse and inclusive family and are part of a diverse and inclusive community.
We follow Covid19 protocols, and keep our check-in and check-out with no contact from us (We follow MA guidelines & requirements for Covid19 concerns). PLEASE NOTE: We do not rent for long term rentals (3 weeks maximum). Our family uses the cottage during the summer season (occasionally) and off season for work. (we have wifi and work spaces in the cottage)
Our 1920 cottage-- in the style of the Vineyard's Gingerbread Cottages and our work-in-progress-- is in Onset, MA. Quiet, friendly, & respectful neighborhood. 100 steps to the neighborhood beach. 5 minute walk to sweet Onset Beach, kayak and canoe rentals, cruises. (Viking cruise thru the Cape Cod Canal railroad bridge, Bourne and Sagamore Bridges). Seven minute walk to Onset Village’s restaurants, shops, post office. Water Wizz (re-opens June 19,2021) and other amusements 7 minute drive. Easy access to Boston, the Cape, and RI. Buzzards Bay Park is along side the Cape Cod Canal for 7 miles to Sandwich Marina. Massachusetts Maritime Academy is nearby.
Our cottage is insulated/heated and has AC & fans (ceiling and wall). Fully equipped kitchen and outside grill with all you need to cook, and a big country sink and dishwasher to clean up. Large open living room and dining room with a large dining room table and piano. Screened-in porch with chairs, breakfast table, and a great napping couch. Patio (with grill),outdoor tables & chairs, and an outdoor shower. Master bedroom, bath with walk in shower and laundry on the first level. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with half bath.
NEW INFO: PETS: We can discuss bringing cats and small dogs to the cottage. We love animals in general and have been happy to accommodate pets in the cottage, but unfortunately there has been extreme damage in the house from larger dogs and negligent pet parents.
