In just 25 minutes, you can drive from the boat to De Cocksdorp, on the other side of the island, where this quiet holiday park is located. Once you have arrived, you won't really need the car anymore, because Texel is a perfect cycling island. Thanks to the many kilometres of cycle paths, you can explore dunes, forests and beaches. Would you really like to go and explore the natural surroundings? Then go on foot. You can visit beautiful places and experience nature even better through the silence or the sound of the various birds.
There are many seals in the sea surrounding Texel. This makes Ecomare seal sanctuary (13 km by bike) a great and interesting outing for the whole family. If you want to see these beautiful animals in the wild, you can also book excursions that will take you by boat along the sandbanks where they live.
The summer on Texel is of course also the perfect time for a beach holiday. From the holiday park, it's only 3.5 km to the beautiful sandy beach on the northernmost part of Texel. De Koog (12 km by bike) is a seaside resort with a lively beach and nice village.
There are many facilities within walking distance of the park, such as: swimming pool, climbing park, 18-hole golf course, mini-golf and various restaurants. This semi-detached holiday home is located in a quiet and small-scale holiday park on Texel Island. The attractively furnished living room with open plan kitchen is, partly due to the natural light, a wonderful space. A smart TV and comfortable seating is the perfect combination for a fun movie night and the dining table lends itself very well to playing games with the whole family. One of the three bedrooms is located on the ground floor; all bedrooms are equipped with good single box-spring beds, which could be set up as a double bed. Life on Texel mainly takes place outside. That is why a lovely terrace with garden furniture is a must.
