There are many churches including Saint George which is built in a natural cave. The Church of Agios Athanasios dates back to the 15th century. Even within a short walk of the villa ruins of an ancient temple and stone tomb.
Limni Vouliagmeni or The Blue Lake is a UNESCO listed place of exceptional natural beauty. This small brilliant blue lagoon is 6km from the villa and close to the archaeological site of Heraion. It is 2km long and 1km wide with a sandy beach and a narrow channel. The salty water is very warm and allows swimming until late in the autumn. Take a boat trip around the coast from the lake and to hidden coves and beaches, perfect to enjoy a picnic lunch.
Schinos is a beautiful, picturesque seaside village at the foot of the Gerania, thirty to forty minutes from Loutraki. There are many hiking trails and climbing options in the Gerakina Gorge. The beach enjoys popular beach bars with lots of music from famous DJ’s in the summer months.
