Cozy cottage with in lovely Skäppevik with large windows where you get to experience fantastic views of the sea both from the glazed terrace and from the dining room. Perfect place to experience nature's spectacle over Kalmar Sund with Öland on the horizon and the island of Garpen with its beautiful lighthouse. You live in an idyllic scenic setting with the sea right next door, here you can take a trip down to the sea in just the bathrobe to enjoy a morning swim down by the jetty with a bathing ladder or by the charming little sandy beach if desired. The entrance leads to the first glazed outdoor room, there is a smaller dining table with chairs and sofa. From there, the dining room opens with dining tables and armchairs, also here you can enjoy the wonderful views. A more newly built larger glazed outdoor space with good space both to enjoy the food and to sit more comfortably. Both outdoor spaces are equipped with infrared heating, which allows you to enjoy "out" longer in the evenings. The cottage is equipped with a simple kitchenette with a bench stove with two hotplates and a refrigerator/freezer. There is plenty of equipment for cooking and tableware. Water is available in one of the cottage's separate washrooms, (not in the kitchen). A slightly smaller bedroom (walk-through room with sliding doors) with built-in bunk bed with junior beds 180 cm long. A larger bedroom where there are two single beds that can be set as a double bed or separately if desired. There is also a small living area with armchairs. Toilet with sink, wc and shower with a slightly simpler standard. If more beds are needed, there is a simpler small guest cottage on the plot with two bunk beds. Simple outdoor furniture in plastic and a couple of fresh sun loungers. There's a new barbecue. There is a summer restaurant, kiosk, mini golf course, children's playground, football goal, barbecue area and larger bathing area on the cottage area. The nearest town is Bergkvara (4.6km), where there are more restaurants, a grocery store and a paddle hall. Skäppevik is also perfectly located for various excursion destinations if desired. You are close to the sun and the island of the winds Öland for sun and swimming as well as Öland Zoo. Kristianopel, 16km away, is a favourite place well worth a visit with its small shops, restaurants and popular cafes. Kalmar offers attractions such as Kalmar Castle and Kalmar County Museum. Skälby farm with fun playgrounds and close contact with the farm animals is usually a popular excursion destination for families with children. The World Heritage Site of Karlskrona has a lot to offer. 11 km to Möre Golf Club for those who are interested in golf. Welcome to Björkenäs Skäppevik, we hope you have a nice holiday.
