Description
Our 480 sq ft cottage offers one bedroom, a combined kitchenette and living area, and a large full bath with walk-in shower. This unit hosts 2 people comfortably and up to 4 people if you don't mind being cozy. Children and pets are welcome! A window AC is available during the warm months, and during the cold season we have a forced air oil heating system with Nest thermostat and a space heater available as well.
The kitchenette includes a hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, and mini-fridge with separate freezer. It's stocked with dishes and cooking/eating utensils (kid-friendly available as well), and individually packaged snacks and beverages. The dining table is counter-height and seats 4. There is a washer and dryer available for use in the laundry closet with detergent pods and dryer sheets.
Our living area has a soft 3-seat couch and an armless cushioned chair. We have a 49" Roku TV with Netflix and Hulu. There is also WiFi and an ethernet plugin available on the router. The couch is not a sleeper sofa but can be used as a bed nonetheless, and we also have 2 twin air mattresses available upon request.
There is a full/double memory foam bed in the bedroom, along with a comfy recliner and ottoman. A small dresser is available for clothing storage, as well as a garment rack with hangers.
The bathroom has the cottage's only sink, as well as a walk-in shower and a variety of supplies such as towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer.
The double-wide driveway can accommodate passenger vehicles of nearly any size. The yard adjacent to the driveway can accommodate a camper/RV upon request. The fire pit is available in the back yard with outdoor seating.
We own one dog (shiba inu) named Dango who spends a lot of time in his fenced-in area in the backyard. He is excitable but very friendly. He sometimes barks at strangers, but the driveway and entrance to the cottage is not visible from his lot. You are free to visit Dango as you wish, but please don't try to physically interact with him without our consent and/or supervision.
