The farmhouse stands back from a quiet surfaced road which leads through the hills between Frigiliana and Torrox - hence its ideal situation. The house is comfortable and decorated in a traditional Andalucian style.
Location and outside area
With tree-covered hills all around and a stunning view of the sea for good measure, this villa offers a lovely setting for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The town of Frigiliana (2.7 km) with numerous restaurants, bars and craft shops is easily accessed, yet the joy of living in a tranquil location with your own pool and a good restaurant (La Venta de Frigiliana) within easy walking distance is not sacrificed. The fascinating Cuevas de Nerja, just east of the town, are well worth a visit.
A large covered terrace spans the length of the house and is the ideal spot to relax looking down at the enclosed pool below. A few steps lead down to the barbecue area with a basin where you may enjoy your alfresco dinners. Patio furniture is provided. A few more steps down lead to the oval pool (6x3 m and 1 m - 1.75 m deep) which takes centre stage at the villa with great views from the terrace. There are sunbeds to stretch out on and parasols providing shade. The garden features beautiful rose bushes, scented flowers and olive trees.
Inside and lay-out
Furnished in a typical Andalucian rustic style, the property is laid out practically with a cozy open-plan living room joined to the dining area and kitchen. The living space comes with a wood burning stove, a sofa for 2, an arm chair and satellite TV with a DVD player. The kitchen is very functional with a dining table for 4 persons, a vitro hob, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, small electric oven and all kinds of kitchen utensils. The washing machine is in a utility room. There are two rooms, a double and a twin, sharing a shower room with washbasin and WC.
