There are some great hikes on Gozo that let you see the peaceful countryside, peppered with remarkable geological features begging to be explored. Kercem is said to be one of the most picturesque parts of Gozo, sitting between Lunzjata Valley and three green hills, stretching as far as the Xlendi cliffs. Relish in nature at Lunzjata valley. This lush valley in Kerċem is one of the most picturesque in Gozo. It is one of the few places on the island that has a continuous supply of water for the surrounding agriculture, while aqueducts line the valley where you can enjoy a walk to the sound of trickling water. Kercem offers easy access to some of Gozo’s best country walks and cycling, visitors can easily reach the village of San Lawrenz or head down to Dwejra Bay. Alternatively, hop in the car and explore a different part of Gozo. Enjoy the hike from Xaghra to Rambla Bay or challenge yourselves and hike up to the Sanap Cliffs. Xlendi Bay is just under 3 km away and has become a popular spot for swimming and snorkelling. This sandy beach is perfect for children with its calm, shallow waters.
