The beautifully finished Villa Burraco enjoys its majestic, elevated position offering breathtaking views across the gorgeous Algarve landscape towards the coast and the Atlantic. It is located close to the lovely market towns of Sao Bras and Loule. The semi-rural position of Villa Burraco offers the best of both worlds with peace, tranquillity and total seclusion yet an exceptional range of sports, activities and buzzing towns close by. With 4 beautiful bedrooms, this exceptional, luxury villa sleeps 8 guests in modern comfort.

Sao Bras is a delightful, pretty market town with a good range of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, museums, and some lovely historical buildings. Loule is beautiful, atmospheric and boasts a fascinating history. It was already an important town in 715, and some historians put it back to 400BC. This bustling town offers excellent shopping, fantastic markets, excellent restaurants and wonderful art galleries.

Villa Burraco sits in fantastic landscaped gardens and promises an unforgettable retreat with unashamed luxury. With an exceptionally high standard of furnishings and fitting throughout the villa, guests can relax in true style in the generous spaces. The living room is drowned in gorgeous sunlight and offers sumptuous sofas, pale tiled floors, a modern fireplace and beautiful local artwork. Two sets of double French doors open to the terrace and swimming pool. With its circular granite table, the separate dining room is another elegant space though you are likely to enjoy most meals on the terrace enjoying the spectacular vistas. The kitchen is enormous, modern and incredibly well-equipped. With an American style fridge with an ice maker, a Nespresso coffee machine and even an orange squeezer so that you can pick the oranges from the garden orchard for your breakfast juice, the kitchen is a chef’s dream. The villa also enjoys a separate laundry room. Three of the villa’s four bedrooms are also located on the ground floor, with the magnificent master suite upstairs. Each of the bedrooms enjoys twin zip-link beds, which make up huge king beds. Two of the downstairs bedrooms offer an ensuite bathroom, plus there is a family bathroom. Like the rest of the villa, the bathrooms are exquisitely finished with beautiful tiling and excellent fittings.

The master bedroom suite enjoys stunning, far-reaching views from each of its two terraces, one to the east enjoying the brilliant morning sunshine and the other to the west. Guests enjoy cool cotton linens and fluffy towels.

Despite the outstanding interior, the highlight of Villa Burraco has to be the heavenly gardens, terraces and views. The terraces are made from local Santa Catarina handmade tiles and offer a wonderful alfresco lounge and dining. You will find beautiful lawned areas, sunbathing corners, a hidden ‘sundowner’ corner and an orchard where you are very welcome to pick the citrus fruits. You can always find a beautiful, quiet spot to enjoy your holiday read in peace. The swimming pool is very generous in size at 10m x 5m and enjoys the fabulous views across the countryside to the sea. There is a poolside shower and a barbecue for those delicious suppers. The sunsets from this fabulous garden are absolutely mesmerising.

You may not want to leave Villa Burraco very much during your stay through Sao Bras with its shops, restaurants and Saturday market, the pretty town of Loule and the gorgeous beach of Fuseta are close by.

Sao Bras is a delightful, pretty town with a good range of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, museums, and lovely historic buildings. The Museum de Troja is a gem of a museum with beautifully set out displays of the passing of time, including stunning costumes and the

History of the cork industry. The town’s main church, Igreja Matriz de Sao Bras de Alportel, is beautiful.

Loule boasts a wonderful historic atmosphere with its landmark church Nossa Senhora da Piedade standing proud on the hill, a modern dome-shaped building. Loule is famous for its Saturday morning gipsy market and its Arabian style daily market. The municipal market building stems from 1908. Loule’s main church, Igreja de S Clemente, stands in the middle of a small square and to the left is the peaceful garden, Jardim dos Amuados, an ancient Arab cemetery. The ruins of its 13th century Loule castle are just down from the market and very close to the Convent of Espirito Santo, which also houses an art gallery. The towns warren of narrow cobbled alleys is brimming with cafes and shops. Approximately 10km north of Loule are the walking trails of Fonte Benemola, with some lovely picnic spots on the way.

Also close by is the atmospheric village of Almancil with its pottery shops and its three Michelin star restaurants. The neighbouring village of Sao Lourenco boasts a fabulous church decorated with excellent azulejo work dating back to 1730. It is one of the prettiest churches in the Algarve. Adjacent to the church is the local centro cultural, which hosts musical performances and art exhibitions.

The Vale do Lobo area has been instrumental in establishing the Algarve as a golfers paradise. The British golfer Henry Cotton designed the Vale do Lobo course, and plenty of others close by. Vilamoura’s courses are recognised as some of the best on the Algarve. Some fantastic stables offer treks that take you through stretches of the classic Algarve countryside and even along some of the beaches.

Vilamoura is a modern playground for the super-rich who arrive in their million-dollar yachts at the town’s stunning exclusive marina. The town boasts a fantastic beach, elite golfing with five exceptional courses, chic lounge clubs, fine dining, a casino and much entertainment.

Guests can also easily visit the stunning Ria Formosa, Tavira and the gorgeous islands from Villa Burraco.
