Description

Typical and peaceful thatched cottage in Corrèze
It is located in the heart of Corrèze, in the small medieval city of Corrèze, at the hospital hamlet. It consists of 6 house of stone, a typical thatched cottage of stone fully renovated offering:
On the ground floor, there is a living room of 30 sq.m with a large fireplace and a bassière of stone. There is a fully fitted open plan kitchen, a dining room of 35 sq.m, a entry hall of 5 sq.m, and WC.
Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms of 15 and 17 sq.m respectively with exposed beams, a office space of 10 sq.m, and a shower room (double shower) with WC.
There is also a exterior terrace of wood/stone, wells of stone, and a garden of 1000 sq.m.
You will enjoy an unobstructed view of the surroundings and the forests.
It is completely equipped for your comfort, with an English stove, a large worktop, a rustic table in the dining room, as well as a TV, a DVD player, Wi-Fi, etc.
The warmth meet and greet of Martine and Dave (in French but also in plain English) will make your stay an unforgettable and relaxing experience in the mountainous landscape or the limousines cows with a dark reddish fur contrasting to the forests or the oak trees.
It is ideal for children, lovers of nature, tranquillity, and silence, as well those who love large bodies of water, those who are interested in old stones, and for experts in picking mushrooms in autumn. Families will want to find an authentic village life, and Dave will introduce your children to his sheep and René to his chickens, rabbits, quails, etc.
