"Villa Troupial" is a Caribbean styled FULLY AIR CONDITIONED single detached 3 bedroom 2.5 bath villa (meaning no one is above, below or attached) providing a serene and private experience for up to 6 persons. It has vaulted ceilings a very large wrap around deck, upgraded kitchen, private laundry, internet, SMART TV with Netflix and cable, and access to owners pool . The villa is also wheelchair accessible (No stairs). The villa offers amazing views of the golf course and surrounding landscapes and provides easy beach access.
We are located in lovely Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort, a private gated community with a beautiful white sand beach, 18 hole golf course, dive shop and restaurants.. Blue Bay and our villa are very "Family Friendly". We are 5.7 km from Willemstad and 5.8 km from the airport and within easy reach of western beaches and the best diving on the island.
We think you will appreciate several additional features - the Air conditioning living room (not just the bedrooms). This can be helpful on nights when the trade winds stop blowing. Sun shades on the deck to help keep temperatures comfortable for afternoon wine and cheese. Ceiling fans in all rooms and the veranda. There is no additional fees for extra guests, (same cost for 1 or 6 persons).
There is a full service grocery store 1/4 mile from the Blue Bay entrance.
Villa details:
 Bedrooms - Master with King bed and en-suite bathroom , 2nd bedroom has 2 full beds and en-suite bathroom. (beds can be placed together). 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds access to guest toilet. Both larger bedrooms have closets and hangers for guests. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans for your comfort.
 40" Smart TV with Netflix, You Tube and intermet TV in the living room.
 Open kitchen plan with Full sized refrigerator, 4 burner stove, microwave/oven combo, & dishwasher. Ample cutlery and cooking utensils & cookware. Coffeemaker, toaster, teapot etc.
*** Our guests are entitled to free use of our washer and dryer. This can be a big plus for those traveling with little ones or for an extended stay.
 Large private wrap around deck for outdoor living with ceiling fans. Amazing views and tropical birds & parrots. New outdoor seating furnishings as of September 2017 .
 1 minute walk to owners pool & and only a 300 meter walk to beach through tropical gardens.
About our Beach & Activities:
Guests have full access to Blue Bay Beach and sun beds. Rated one of the best beaches on the island with palm trees, thatched palapas, and protected turquoise waters. The beach offers 3 bars, 2 restaurants, showers, changing rooms, massage hut, and “kids Club” play space. Beach is accessed by owner passes provided to you. .
Golf - Blue Bay offers the opportunity to play on one of only 2 golf courses on the island. "The only course where you play along the Caribbean sea".
Scuba - Blue Bay Dive is a full service 5 STAR PADI dive center. 2 spectacular shore dives take place right from the beach. Contact owner as we can arrange special discounts for you through Mick at the dive shop. As scuba divers we can also provide you a review of favored dive sites.
Checking in and getting acquainted:
Our on site manager will ensure the villa is properly prepared and set for your arrival. They are available to assist you during your stay.
Upon booking, Michelle and I will also provide you with a list of our favorite restaurants, dive & snorkel sites, beaches and other activities around the island that may help you in planning your vacation. Curacao and its diverse scenery, restaurants, and beaches are meant to be seen, so we strongly recommend a car to best enjoy your experience.

Why Curacao?
Michelle and I have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and South Pacific, and chose Curacao as our island home in 2007. The diverse people & cultures, European flair combined with Caribbean architecture & colors, amazing shore diving and snorkeling and uncrowded beaches make curacao unique. Michelle and I are avid divers, and greatly enjoy the large amount of shore diving easily accessed from beaches.

As Curacao is below the hurricane belt your holiday will never be cancelled or interrupted.
The people and island:
Curacao is safe and can be driven or walked at anytime of day or night. The US $ is accepted throughout and there is no need to exchange monies. Change in most cases is returned in "guilders"
