Rio Cangrejal Lodge is a large two story home nestled on the banks of the river in the Pico Bonito National Park. The first story is a studio with ensuite bath, two queen beds and large comfortable sitting area and kitchenette. There is a covered patio outside with table and chairs and a fabulous view of the river and cloud forest. The second story has a large protected deck connected to the master bedroom and the living area. The master has a queen bed and the second bedroom has 2 singles. The kitchen is large and has a full sized gas stove and a big fridge. The bathroom has a shower as well as a bidet and toilet in a different area. The living/dining area has plenty of room for all and in front is the huge deck with views of the waterfall, the river and Jungle.
Pico Bonito National Park is home to many different animals and exotic birds making the area perfect for Birding. Across the river we have a spectacular view of the largest waterfall on the river, Cascada El Bejuco. Want to change from civilization to raw nature? Just a half mile up the road from your Villa, you can cross the bridge over the river and be in a very different environment.
