This wonderful farmhouse called "Koe in de Kost" is highly recommended for families with children. Besides the fact that the children can help the farmer and his wife with all of their farm activities, the property offers all the necessary space to play freely. All of that while you can relax in one of the most beautiful accommodations in the middle of the meadows.
On the farm, guests have their "own" cow that they can take care of; there also are calves, chickens, ponies, rabbits and of course the two lovely dogs Evi and Kiddik. A wonderful group of animals, all of which need attention. It's also possible to harvest potatoes and vegetables from the vegetable garden for the evening meal. There's always something to do on the farm.
The nearby Sallandse Heuvelrug offers excellent opportunities for beautiful hiking and cycling tours. The beautiful and historical city of Deventer (just 11 km away) is also absolutely worth a visit.
Combine a special design, attractive decor and a fantastic location with each other and you will get these absolutely unique accommodations as a result. The natural character is of course determined by the overgrown roof and the use of a lot of wood such as the ceiling of tree trunks. An additional advantage of this is that they are well insulated from both heat and cold. Above all, this accommodation is just very comfortable and fully equipped. You have underfloor heating, a cosy pellet stove and a fully equipped kitchen with, for example, a dishwasher. The terrace is adjacent to the meadows where you can look out over the beautiful window and through the large windows you can also enjoy the grazing cows from the living room.
These accommodations can be booked in two variants; the 5-person (NL-8111-32) has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The 8-pers. variant (NL-8111-33) has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
