Tusken de Marren leisure park is a great location for water sport enthusiasts. Feel free to bring your own boat along, since some of the accommodations at this holiday park come with their own dock. Please discuss the possibilities with the park. If you don't have a boat of your own, you can simply rent one here. The park is directly connected to the Sneekermeer and many other lakes both large and small. The quaint village centre of Akkrum offers lots of charm and history, with no fewer than 21 national monuments. Heerenveen (about 15 km away), Leeuwarden (about 20 km) and Drachten (about 25 km) are also very attractive and well-known cities that are within easy reach here in the province of Friesland. And of course the beautiful surrounding area is perfect for exploring on foot or bicycle. You can choose from a number of different types of accommodation at holiday resort Tusken de Marren. They've got one thing in common though: they all enjoy a waterfront setting. The comfortably furnished chalet (NL-8491-10) is suitable for 4 guests and has a nice veranda. The lodges come in a 4-person (NL-8491-11) and a 6-person (NL-8491-12) variety. They were designed to be completely energy-neutral homes. The modern interior and lovely stove all add to the atmosphere. The two-storey holiday homes consist of 4-person (NL-8491-13), 6-person ((NL-8491-14) and 8-person (NL-8491-15) accommodations. These spacious homes are also equipped with all modern comforts. The 6-person homes are set on an open waterway, offering nice views of the many boats passing by. The 8-person accommodations consist of homes with 4 bedrooms (1 with en-suite bathroom) on the first floor, and others with 3 bedrooms on the first floor and 1 bedroom (with bathroom) on the ground floor. All 8-person holiday homes are equipped with a charging point for electric bikes.
All accommodations have their own jetty and the terraces are comfortably furnished.
Specifics
• Fireworks are prohibited in the park. By disadvantageous, sound can not be excluded.
• The outdoor fireplaces are currently out of service until further notice. You will not be able to use these during your stay.
• You may receive an email from the reception requesting the "on-site costs" prior to your stay. This saves unnecessary waiting when you arrive so you can start your vacation right away!
