This stunning nine-bedroom, nine-and-a-half bathroom mansion is situated a stone’s throw from the beach on Barbados’ glorious west coast. On the ground floor is a guest bedroom with en-suite and doors leading out to the garden. There’s also a kitchen, three living areas, a games room and private cinema. In addition to this, there’s a steam room, sauna, and gym for you to workout and relax in before a dip in the villa’s private swimming pool in the perfectly manicured gardens that overlook the beach.
On the first floor are six bedrooms. Two of these feature twin beds which can be converted into a king-sized bed, while the other four all have king-sized beds. All have an en-suite, with a bath, shower, or both. Onto the second floor, and there are two master suites with king-sized beds, both with an en-suite and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. There is also a shared living area for these two with a kitchenette and a large balcony on this floor.
The villa has been designed with luxury in mind. There are decadent stone pillars, marble flooring, local fine art, and stunning French doors that seamlessly blend the indoors with the gardens and beach that lies just beyond them. All bedrooms are air conditioned to allow you to sleep comfortably and there are ceiling fans throughout the property. In addition to this, there is a chef to prepare three meals a day as well as a butler, housekeeper, and laundress who work on a rolling rota to suit you and your needs. The house is also secure, with an in-built security system installed. The Beach House also has other features including hairdryers, wifi, smart TVs and cable TV.
The gardens are landscaped and have sun loungers, a veranda, as well as a covered terrace and BBQ - perfect for al fresco dining. With the villa facing west, you will have glorious sunsets and will be able to view these from the terraces and balconies. The villa is beachfront, with Payne’s Bay Beach being on its doorstep to allow for walks along the shore and beach days.
The Beach House is situated on Barbados’ west coast just thirteen minutes drive from Bridgetown, the island's largest and capital city. The city is full of restaurants and shops to visit as part of your holiday and is full of colonial architecture, rich in the island’s history. It also has UNESCO World Heritage Site Status. If you’re not a fan of larger cities, a mere seven minute drive away is Holetown, a far smaller city full of history. Holetown was the location of the first British landing in Barbados in 1625 and is the perfect spot for water sports.
Holetown is also home to Chattel Village, a range of shops set within tropical gardens. Chattel houses are known to date back to plantation days and were designed to be moveable. They come in a variety of stunning colours, ranging from bright yellows to pastel purples and are definitely worth a visit. The shops themselves sell clothes, local art, and artisan items to take back as a souvenir or gift.
At twenty-one miles long and fourteen miles wide, it will be easy for you to explore the whole of the island during your visit and experience everything Barbados has to offer. The west coast of Barbados is dubbed “The Platinum Coast” and is famous for stunning golden beaches and turquoise waters that are calm enough to swim in. From a gentle swim to water sports such as jet-skiing, Barbados’ beaches have something to offer to everyone.
