How do I reserve the Villa?
In order to confirm your reservation we require 50% of the total rental rate and the other 50% 90 days prior to your arrival date. Special arrangements may be made upon request.
What does the rental rate include?
The rental rate includes your stay at the villa and the service of the staff members. The staff members include a chef, 2 waitresses (one of whom is a great bartender) and daily cleaning services.
How many staff members are included in the rental rate?
The rental of the villa includes between 3-4 staff members.
How many meals a day will the staff prepare for us?
The staff prepares 2 meals a day (breakfast and dinner). A snack time i.e Guacamole & Salsa is always included should guests request this.
Is the cost of the food and drinks included in the rental rate?
No. However, we offer pre stocking services free of charge. The way it works is that a week before your arrival you send us your food & beverage list and we go to the store and get those items for you at cost (plus a delivery fee). Once you arrive at the villa we provide you with the receipt and you reimburse the house manager for the cost of the purchase.
Can a staff member get food and drinks while we are the villa?
Yes. In order to keep food fresh a staff member can go and get the food for you while you are at the villa. You can even go with them if you want to make the purchases yourself.
How far is the villa from a sandy beach?
Casa Azul Profundo is located 5-10 minutes walking distance from Playa de Mismaloya, which is one of the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta. Half of the beach has an outdoor palapa style restaurant with beer and local food and the rest of the area is a stretch of sandy beach.
How far is the villa from the airport and the downtown?
The villa is located approximately 35 minutes away from the airport and 10-15 minutes away from the old town of Puerto Vallarta where the best restaurants and bars are located. You can get to the town either by bus, by taxi or by uber.
If I don’t rent the whole house would I be sharing the villa with other people?
No. We only rent the villa to one group at a time. If you rent less than 12 bedrooms we simply lock the rooms that are not being used.
Do you offer transportation services?
We do not offer transportation services as part of the villa. However, we can make arrangements with a local van company that can pick you up at the airport and take you to the villa and vice versa for approximately $20-35 dollars a person roundtrip depending on the number of guests.
What is the villa’s capacity?
We have capacity for 28 guests but we can make special accommodations for larger groups if needed.
Can I have my wedding at the Villa and what is the capacity?
Yes. We have held several weddings at Casa Azul Profundo. For a wedding we have capacity for up to 100 guests. The cost of the event would depend on the number of people invited to the event. For smaller events the wedding fee may be waived depending on the number of nights you rent the house for. See Weddings
Can you assist with wedding preparation?
Yes. You can choose to hire the caterer and other wedding vendors and bring them to your event or we can recommend local vendors that have previously held events at our house. There is no extra cost associated in assisting you in coordinating your event.
Can you help us arrange other activities while in town?
Yes. We can help you arrange any other activities while in town such as fishing trips, snorkeling trips, zip line excursions or any other service you may need.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS – For direct reservations: Cancellations made prior to 150 days of arrival date will be assessed a 15% handling fee (of total rental amount) which is a cancellation fee. Cancellations made after 150 days prior to arrival date will be assessed a cancellation fee of 100% of total rental amount.
All cancellations must be in writing. Failure to notify us of any cancellation in writing will result in a 100% rental fee forfeiture without re-imbursement for any reason.
In case the number of guests and / or rooms decreases, Casa Azul Profundo is not responsible and the money paid will not be refunded (some exceptions apply). It is the responsibility of the client to book the house with a secure number of guests to avoid future inconveniences.
Important notes: Please notice that our house is located in a tropical, lush area so wildlife and insects should be expected. Our villas are regularly fumigated, however insects are possible because of the open spaces throughout. We recommend the bedrooms doors to be closed with lights off (when no one is inside), especially during the rainy season.
