What a relief to reach your final destination after your trip through the Pyrenees: holiday park La Taillade de Montségur, located in the picturesque village of Fougax-et-Barrineuf. La Taillade de Montségur consists of 30 detached, very well-kept chalets. The surrounding area is a wonderful place for the children to romp around. You can keep an eye on them from the partly covered terrace. In the vicinity of La Taillade de Montségur, there is a lot to do for young and old. Near the town of Tarascon-sur-Ariège (43 km), for example, you will find caves and the Parc Pyrénéen de l'Art Préhistorique. Be sure to visit the Fontaine de Fontestorbes (4 km) and the Gorges de la Frau (7 km). You will find a nice recreational lake at Montbel (22 km). The beautiful medieval town of Foix (38 km) with its towers that proudly dominate the area should not be missing from your to-do list. There are several nice restaurants and a supermarket in Belesta (4 km) and Lavelanet (9 km). There are plenty of facilities at La Taillade de Montségur. Outdoors or indoors, no need to be bored! There is a reception, a bar, and a restaurant. You also use the handy bread service. You can find a wonderful, cool place on hot days at the fenced, communal swimming pool (with a shallow angle) or along the rippling water of the mountain river that flows past the park. You will also find various sports and games courts and a children's playground outside. There is a room with a large video screen. There also is a game room. Themed evenings are regularly organized in the park. Are you bringing your own barbecue? Fine! But you can also borrow one at the reception if you want. In a separate building, you and the other park residents can use shared washing machines and dryers. There also is a place to iron your clothes. Holiday park La Taillade de Montségur is located in the green department of the Ariège. In the area, you will find the beautiful citadel Montségur with its beautiful castle (8 km). You can already see it from the park. The mountainous and wooded area is ideal for long walks. There are plenty of options. You can go straight into the mountains from the park; beautiful panoramas assured! But Forêt de Bélesta has even more to offer. If you go to Pic de St. Barthélemy (30 km), the reward is absolutely phenomenal. The choice is yours!

You can choose between 4 different types of chalets on this holiday park near Montsegur. The entrance is through the terrace with garden furniture. All chalets are very nicely and carefully furnished. They each have a living room with sleeping facilities. In the chalets you'll use the completely equipped open kitchen.
