Town squares are a focus of Villages' activities, featuring many and varied restaurants offering burgers to BBQ, Italian to ice cream! You will also discover unique shopping experiences, perfect for that unusual gift or vacation souvenir. Each evening, the Dog Trot Porch, Brownwood's central square, offers free live music and dancing entertainment. Do join in the nightly line easy and fun! The Barnstorm Theater has eight-screens and runs the latest films in air-conditioned comfort. An excellent Farmers' Market occupies Brownwood's main square every Saturday, featuring delicious breads, cheeses, meats and organic you need for your Florida BBQ! Recreation Centers ("Recs") are the second focus of free Villages' interests and classes. You are well-situated between two Regional Recs, Eisenhower and Colony Cottage. These recs are not only stunningly themed and decorated, but they offer everything from aerobics to Zumba, large-pool swimming to that other Villages' Ball! (Please do try it!) Stop by your nearest rec with your Temp ID and ask for the weekly free activities list. You will be amazed at what is offered! Your golfing options are well met in your area. The Executive courses of Roosevelt, Sandhill and Sweetgum are so close by cart. Bonifay, Evans Prairie and Belle Glade Country Clubs, with their Championship courses, pro shops and excellent restaurants are just a cart ride away. The new Sarasota Golf Practice Center is a lovely facility and so very close! If you prefer a quiet laze by a smaller pool, you need only make a short cart jaunt to your neighborhood pool. Rabbit Run is beautifully decorated and has all of the home essentials you will need to enjoy a perfect VIR Vacation. The living room seats six comfortably and has a flat-screen TV. The open plan dining area seats six and is conveniently close to the well-equipped kitchen, with its own dine-in area seating a further four. The master bedroom features a king bed, a flat-screen TV, a conversation area, a large walk-in closet and a beautiful en-suite with dual sink vanity units and a large walk-in shower. Bedroom two has a queen bed and is adjacent to bathroom two, with its tub and shower combination. Bedroom three features two twin beds with a flat-screen TV. The lovely screened lanai is the perfect place to relax with morning coffee or enjoy a delicious BBQ while enjoying an exquisite Florida sunset. All of our properties come with High Speed WiFi internet included. Linens, dishes, cutlery and towels are also supplied for your convenience. Each property has either cable TV or satellite TV available for your enjoyment. With the Village Resident ID card you can use any of the 36 executive golf courses with no greens fees. And these executive golf courses are not your typical "pitch & putts!" They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You pay resident rates on greens fees at the 12 Championship courses. You are also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis & pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.
