Though the race is once a year, the city is always a beautiful place to visit; take in the Gallo-Roman architecture in old town, the fine arts at Musee de Tesse, or a grand meal at Michelin-starred Le Beaulieu.
Closer to home, you'll find dozens of wineries surrounding the Loir river (a tributary of the Loire). The Touraine wine region produces beautifully dry, minerally whites that pair well with food. If you're looking for a celebration wine, you'll be pleased to discover the local “Touraine mousse” - produced by the same method as Champagne, but at greater value.

Luckily for you the property is only 90 minutes by train from Paris, 30 minutes to Le Mans city (well known for the 24 Hours of Le Mans race) and 2 minutes to the highway.
a very interesting place to visit is Chateau du Lude, just 15 mins away.
It is one of the great chateaux of the Loire Valley and one of the last important historical castles in France, still inhabited by the same family for the last 260 years. The chateau is testimony of four centuries of French architecture. Its gardens have evolved throughout the centuries. It is a harmonious combination of French design and an English style landscape, with a rose garden, topiaries, a labyrinth and a botanical walk.
