During winter, the frost transforms the water into ice and you have opportunities for ice fishing and skating. The cold weather and the sunlight create an astonishing glittering world. The next cross-country ski trail is just a kilometre away from the house and the nearest ski area is only 25 km away. It is located in Messilä and offers beautiful slopes for beginners and experienced skiers. A perfect ending for a day in the snow is a visit to the sauna.
