Description

Welcome to a very nice and well-built house on lovely Yxlan, an island located in Stockholm's northern archipelago with car ferry from Furusund. A charming idyll in the inner archipelago with proximity to the open sea (Östersjön). The house has a lake view and in close proximity to the water (approx. 75 m), where you can, fish, swim from the jetty via bathing ladder or by the small sandy beach, or take the boat that goes out and pull up a couple of perch for dinner. Experience other islands in the immediate area by boat. At the bridge there is a communal barbecue area with tables and benches and in the area there is a small ball court with a goal and a trampoline. The house has a large living room with kitchen area and a dining table for 4-8 people. As well as a smaller 3-seat sofa, tables and armchairs for socializing, watching TV, etc. There is a shower room with WC, two bedrooms, the larger one with a double bed and the smaller one with a bunk bed (bed size 70X190 cm), in the living room there is a sofa bed for two adults. In the larger bedroom there is a fireplace with a fire ban, but inte the hall there is a burning stove you can use. The house has two balconies, one with exit from the kitchen section for cozy breakfast and one with lake view and exit from both the larger bedroom and from the family room. On the site there is a larger grass area for play eg ball games, cube, boules and more. A cool cellar is available where, for example, vegetables and drinks can be stored. From Yxlan it is easy to discover the surroundings, for example go to Furusund and experience the environment, eat at the charming inn or at the harbor inn in the guest harbor or take a coffee there. Furusund has a petrol station that also sells groceries and fast food. If you take the ferry in the other direction from Yxlan, you come to Blidö. There are, for example, Blidö Hamnkrog, a Thai kiosk, a well-stocked grocery store (ICA Nära) and Blidö church that is worth a visit. At the ferry location on Yxlan there is Köpmansholms Kiosk which has the most necessary groceries and "street kitchens". They used to go to Furusund to swim and drink a well, it is a really lovely old seaside resort. But Furusund has much older ancestry, where there is, for example, the Compass Rose with royal crown engraved on the mountain, the oldest in the north (1463). Both from Yxlan, Furusund and Blidö, charming archipelago boats cross and cross through the archipelago islands, you can even take the boat all the way to Stockholm and step off in the middle of the big city.
