This beautifully renovated remnant of an ancient stone watch-tower is situated approximately 2km. from the charming bastide village of Roquecor, Tarn et Garonne. The accommodation is suitable for 2 adults only, (over 18yrs) and is on 3 different levels on the "entrance floor" There is a fully equipped kitchen (up 2 steps), dining area (down 1 step) and bedroom (down 3 steps) with king-size bed, en-suite shower, WC and wash-basin. French doors from the bedroom open on to a small south-facing terrace. Upstairs, taking advantage of the lovely view, there is comfortable sitting-room with French doors opening on to a large south-facing balcony (table, chairs, parasols) To the rear of the property ,( north facing) is a separate entrance drive with parking, and a private terrace (table, chairs, parasol and BBQ) which looks onto a small orchard of fruit trees. There is a private swimming pool for Gîte guests. On account of it’s hilltop location, and the steps and stairs in both the garden and within the Gîte the property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or handicaps. Babies and small children are not accepted for safety reasons There are a great many attractions in the area, historic buildings, excellent restaurants, social and cultural events over the summer months in Roquecor, and easy access to a wide variety of vineyards,e.g. Cahors, Bergerac, Bordeaux and Armagnac.
