"Salty Scallop" located on the South End of Cape San Blas in the quiet neighborhood of Cape Dunes. Ideal for families. Private deeded community boardwalk leads you to the Gulf beach just a minutes walk (no roads to cross).
Home is centrally located and a perfect base camp for exploring Old Florida's 'Unforgettable Coast'. Access the bike/walk/jogging path across the street that extends the 8 mile length of the peninsula. . Walk to Salinas Public Park featuring: Pickleball courts, Kids playground, Screened picnic areas and Kayak launch into St. Joseph Bay. Walk to Scallop Republic, the only craft beer and wine bar on the Cape with live music that overlooks the bay. Drive 3 miles east to the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar, or 10 miles to local shops and restaurants in Port St. Joe.
One of the few properties on the Cape that you have peak-a-boo views of St. Joe Bay out the front door and Gulf of Mexico out the back.
There is enough room for a comfortable stay for four adults accompanied by up to four children. (Sorry, absolutely NO Pets or Indoor Smoking). Kitchen is complete with fridge, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, cooking essentials and other luxuries of home plus a stacked washer and dryer.
Two wood decks to relax on. Cook outside on the large industrial charcoal grill. Central AC with ceiling fans in all bedrooms if you enjoy a slight breeze. Bedrooms feature new mattresses and bedding. Up to 1 Gig Wi-Fi internet included. Living room has 65" Roku TV with Sling, Netflix, Disney+, PlutoTV, ROKU channel, local broadcast available via antenna ABC, CBS, NBC, CW. But, who wants to watch television when there's so much to do outdoors?
Bring your fishing gear and grab a saltwater license because the onshore fishing is a must. Or, bring your bathing suits and take the kids swimming. Drive to T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park ($6 entry fee) to experience what The Travel Channel and Dr. Beach named top in the nation!
