Our 3 BR Chalet sits on a quit and wooded 10 acres property is located near Starved Rock State Park and offers accommodation for up to 8 people in Marseilles. The famous Starved Rock park is situated short drive away, between Ottawa, Utica and Oglesby. The chalet is surrounded with wooded ravines views, fresh air, consist of fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV, offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. The air-conditioned accommodation is only 3 miles from Skydive Chicago, Zip Chicago, Cliffs Insane Terrain Off-Road Park, and Boat lunch. The chalet offers direct access to a private terrace with barbeque. The property also has 1 bathroom with a bath and shower, free toiletries, towels and a hair dryer are provided. The 3 Bedrooms offer queen beds with hyperallergic pillows and free linens. After a day of hiking, skydiving or zip-lining, guests can relax and enjoy beautiful view on a private porch, equipped with outdoor furniture, barbeque and nearby fire pit.

There is plenty of activities to choose from just minutes away. Some of the many attractions such as Skydive Chicago, Zip Chicago, The Cliffs Insane Terrain Off-Road Park, Illinois State Park with Boat Launch, are only 3 miles away, and the famous Starved Rock State Park is about 15 min drive and offers breathtaking views, many waterfalls, Plum Island Eagle Sanctuary, Lover's Leap Kaskaskia canyon , Hennepin Canyon Overlooks, La Salle canyon, just to name some, and gorgeous ice formations in winter. The Sunset and Creak Horseback riding, kayaking canoeing and Rafting trips are about 20 min drive and Raging Waves Water Park and Golf courses are about 30 min away.

The ‘’Zip Chicago’’ offer many outdoor Activities, Tours, Zipline, Marksman Archery tags & Aerial Adventure Parks. “The Cliffs Insane Terrain off Road Park” offers guided UTV tours and much more. If that is not enough excitement for you, go parachute jumping at nearby Skydive Chicago where you can skydive with instructor, take lessons or just hang out and watch. If you like water, Nearby Illini State Park has nice walking trails and boat lunch area. Jet ski, kayaking, canoeing, river Rafting are other options to try. “Millbrook Trail Rides” offer rides through corn mazes, bridges, and beautiful streams, and Sunset rides. When you get tired, you can visit the Plum Island Eagle Sanctuary for Eagle Watch in Famous Starved Rock park, This park offers many trials with breathtaking canyon overlooks and view spots, beautiful waterfalls and fishing in the river during spring, summer and fall and gorgeous ice formations during the winter. Winter months are also great for hunting, snowboarding and skiing.

When you get hungry, there is many options to choose from just 2-3 miles away such as Snug harbor marina Bar and restaurant, Subway, Burger King, Uncle Wong's, The River City Diner, Bobaluk's Beef & Pizza, Marseilles Family Restaurant, or Coyote Café. Nearby cities such Ottawa, La Salle, offers much more choices with great coffee shops and restaurants.

If you decide to stay on the property and prepare meals in our fully equipped kitchen, there is a plenty of choices for grocery shopping such D & S Foods 2 miles away, Kroger 6 miles away, Walmart, 9 miles away or Ottawa and Peru shopping centers.
The chalet is smoke free, and children up to 3 years old can sleep in existing beads for free.
