Completely secluded from the rest of the neighbourhood, you can enjoy the wonderful view, and then relax with a cup of coffee on the patio behind the house. A small path runs down towards the lake, where a hammock is waiting for a more relaxed time. This cottage is called "Tervaleppä", located in the village Nykälä, north of the town of Mikkeli. Lake Kääkönlampi just below offers a nice sandy bottom that is ideal for swimming, but also for the children. Shrubs and trees fills the spacious garden, and guests can use their own private playground with swings, sand box and climbing frame. There is also a high chair and cot available. The cottage has in other words very good conditions for families with children. The house is also convenient for those who want to go out into the countryside to pick berries and mushrooms. If you want to explore the Finnish lake district, there is a boat that is included in the rent. For those who wish, a boat engine can also be rented. Naturally, there is also a sauna to relax in but also a fireplace to gather around and enjoy time together. The house is consistently tastefully decorated and has most amenities one could wish for, such as a washing machine and a dishwasher.Although this is a holiday home close to nature you can take excursions to nearby villages and towns. Closest is Nykälä reached about 3.5 kilometers from the house. Approximately 60 km to the south, you will find the popular, larger city of Mikkeli. On the way you pass a variety of lakes which is significant for the area. This is one of the reasons why there are so many holiday homes in the Mikkeli vicinity. You can, for a fee, book a hot tub (for up to 8 people), if you are ordering some time before your arrival.
