If you want to travel up to nearby Hyères, which is only 11 km away and has charm and authenticity, Carqueiranne is a particularly lovely harbor.
Tennis courts are even closer, and golfers may travel 20 minutes to an 18-hole course with a driving range.
There are also plenty of options for kite and windsurfing at the Plage de l'Almanarre.
Toulon, a magnificent port city with limestone mountains as a backdrop, is accessible after around 30 minutes of driving. Marvel at the Musée National de la Marine's displays of 17th-century French naval artifacts or stroll around the harbor's calm waters and attractive fishing boats.
