Description

Bantam Cottage is a cosy, cute, 120 year old, pet friendly cottage and is the ideal house to make your home for a few days. The cafes, restaurants and wonderful shops of Berry are only a leisurely two minute stroll around the corner so just park and have a day or two car free.

Cancellations that have to be made due to Covid restrictions and lockdowns will receive a 100% refund.

The heart of the cottage is the sitting room which has a beautiful open fire, laid and just ready to light in winter. It is a cozy place to laze in front of with candles, a bottle of red wine or to toast marshmallows with the kids.

There are beautiful polished timber floors throughout scattered with rugs for warmth. The kitchen has an oven, stove, microwave, all the utensils needed, and a range of basic pantry items are supplied.

The two bedrooms have queen beds which are made up with fresh linen and bedding and have electric blankets. Soft fluffy towels are also supplied.

The toilet and bathroom are separate with the bathroom having an easily accessible shower but no bath.

The front verandah looks out over the town to the hills behind and is a lovely place to watch the world go by while at the rear of the house is a large deck overlooking farmland and a quiet rural scene. This catches the morning sun and is a peaceful place to enjoy a morning tea or coffee.

Pets are welcome in the house and the back yard is fully fenced and secure with large shade trees.

Directly across the road is The Hungry Monkey with its delicious food and coffee
The wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants are only around the corner and 2 minutes walk away.

PET FRIENDLY

A perfect family getaway - pets are welcome too.

Bring your furry best friend on holiday with you and stay in our homely cottage. With our easy to clean timber floors pets are welcome in the house to be a part of the family, sitting in front of the open fire or begging for a treat at the dining table. The back yard is a securely fenced, dog safe area set with large trees and lawn for playing ball games.
Berry is a dog friendly town so you can take your pet to many cafes so he isn't left home alone. There is an off leash area close to the house and many lovely streets to go for walks while admiring the houses and gardens. There is a great off leash area for dogs only 10 minutes away on the beach at Shoalhaven Heads where your dog can run to its hearts content.
