The resort is located near the Brouwersdam, 12 km from the centre of seaside resort Ouddorp, on the border between South Holland and Zeeland. At the western part of Eco Resort Grevelingenstrand, you'll find the nice North Sea beach. On the other side, you'll find the Grevelingenmeer. This is the largest, cleanest and most clear salt water lake of Western Europe. In Eco Resort Grevelingenstrand, everything revolves around nature, peace and space. You'll park your car at the central car park. Of course there are wagons to transport your luggage and groceries from and to your cottage. You can reach this resort by public transport as well. It's possible in these 4-person beach cottages (tiny houses), situated directly by the Grevelingenmeer at ECO Resort Grevelingenstrand. Hidden in the 9 hectare nature reserve De Kabbelaarsbank, on the border of South Holland and Zeeland. These smoke-free cottages are designed according to unique concept, which is autarkic, bio-based and circular. This means that the cottage is completely self-sufficient and furnished and finished with natural materials. An example: the larch wood was received from Staatsbosbeheer and the cottages are insulated with hemp. It's a so-called Greenhuus; just as durable in design as it is in use. As you can expect from a tiny house, they're furnished is a smart and complete way. They're suitable for four people and consist of two floors. On the ground floor, there's a living room and open plan kitchen with microwave, a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet and a bedroom with a double bed. This bedroom is closed off with a sliding door from the rest of the ground floor. If you're staying with two people, you can turn this into a comfortable sitting area. On the first floor, you'll find an open sleeping loft with two single beds, which could or could not be in a double set-up. This floor can be reached by means of the steep staircase in the living room. Given the space in the beach cottages, it is possible to place one cot. The maximum occupancy of 4 persons may not be exceeded. The cottages are furnished in a modern and comfortable way. Thanks to the large glass front, it's nicely bright inside and it's easy to combine the indoors and outdoors. Upon arrival, the beds are made, so your holiday can start right away. The cottages feature a terrace with a view of the Grevelingenmeer. There also is a picnic table and a shaded area with hammock to relax. You can park your car at the central parking area of the resort. Of course, there's free WiFi. This cottage is pet-friendly. One dog is allowed per cottage. Because Eco Resort Grevelingenstrand is located in a nature reserve, your dogs needs to be on a leash at all times, including in the resort itself and around the cottage. Specifics
• The use of water shoes is recommended in Grevelingenmeer.
• For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
• Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
• The holiday home is exclusively available for recreation purpose only
• This is a 4-person accommodation. Due to the measures surrounding the coronavirus, it is not allowed to stay in this accommodation in a group. You can book this accommodation if you and your fellow travellers form a family and/or household or travel with a group up to max 1 household(s). If you do not form a family or household or your tour group exceeds the max. number of households, access to the accommodation can/will be denied.
