Maison Gers is a charming, traditional Maison de Maitre, plus cottage set in eight acres of gardens and grounds filled with mature cedar, chestnut, walnut and oak trees and offering beautiful sunsets and views of the unspoiled, rolling countryside.

The ‘maison' is authentic and impressive, with plenty of homely touches, as this has always been a family home. All rooms are bright thanks to double aspect large windows, there is an inviting family kitchen with AGA and large open fireplace, two sitting rooms and a stunning entrance hall which runs the length of the house.

The cottage, dating back to the mid-1700s, is part of a traditional ancient courtyard with original pigeonnier. It offers rustic and delightful self-contained accommodation over two floors and boasts many original features; thick stone walls, exposed beams, original old doors and wooden shutters.

A village with restaurant is only 4 kilometres away, whilst Condom with further amenities, including a Michelin-starred restaurant, as well as boat rental is only 12 kilometres away. There is so much to do in this beautiful, rural part of Gascony; cycling, golf, horse-riding and hiking (the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella passes within one kilometre of Maison Gers). Three of France's Les Plus Beaux Villages are within a 20-minute drive and good local restaurants can be found in the numerous villages nearby.
