Description

Take a step back into French history as you enter the 17th century Chateau Le Brun, originally a hunting lodge owned by Chancellor Seguier, Minister of Finances under Louis XIII and Louis XIV.
Now it's the home of a delightful and talented artist who swapped her high flying city life for her easel. Her fabulous artwork is exhibited around the property to be enjoyed by her guests, as well as her warm welcome.
This private family property is surrounded by a luscious 52 acre park and offers guests 6 spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms. The chateau itself is located in a typical Sologne Village next to the Loire River, and this famous area is home to other beautiful chateaux such as Chambord and Cheverny.
Guests at the chateau have their own sizeable private heated swimming pool, next to which you'll find an outdoor dining space for 18, the barbecue and luxurious padded sun loungers. It's a property guaranteed to seduce guests with its cool, arty ambiance and welcoming comfort.

#### Features
Ground Floor
There is a living room, complete with comfortable seating for 15 people. The fact that the chateau deliberately eschews a formal dining room with 12 dining chairs reinforces its laid back philosophy, ensuring mealtimes don't become a stuffy formality. The equipped Brick kitchen (hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and dishwasher) seats up to 10. There are patio doors opening up onto a lovely terrace. You'll also find a WC and a utility room with washing machine, fridge and a cabinet with boots and pool chair cushions. At the back, there's a TV room with a LCD flat screen cable TV with English channels. There are also two en-suite bedrooms, perfect for the elderly: one has a double bed with twin mattresses, shower with a small chair, single washbasin, hairdryer, toilet, fireplace and patio doors. The other has a kingsize bed, jacuzzi with handheld shower and single washbasin.
First Floor
The first floor is accessed by the original staircase and is where you'll find the chateau's further 4 bedrooms (two of which are en-suite) plus a further shared bathroom with shower, sink and WC.
The master suite on this floor overlooks the grounds and contains a double bed with twin mattresses and en-suite bathroom containing a large and luxurious Jacuzzi bath with hydro-massage shower, two single washbasins, toilet and hairdryer. Adjoining this is a twin room, making this part of the chateau perfect for a family who wants to stay close together! A further double bedroom with queen bed, en-suite bathroom (with hydro-massage shower, two single washbasins and toilet) overlooking the swimming pool and another twin room with shower and single washbasin complete the sleeping accommodation on this floor.
Top Floor
Though not officially part of the rental, the top floor acts as a great space for kids to play, surrounded by the owner's beautiful artwork. Just make sure the kids don't hog it - it's a charming and relaxing space for guests of any age to hang out!
Pool Area
There is a private fenced and electrically heated rectangular pool with rounded steps at the end (size: 16x15m / depth: 1-2.30 m) surrounded by a beautiful poolside terrace.
Barbecue Area
There is a built-in barbecue with a wooden table for 12 people and a covered dining area.
Park
Guests are free to roam around the 52 acre park with centennial trees that is shared with the owner's brother and sisters. The glorious park is ideal for children to play in, with lovely walks for adults and an exciting playground for fishermen, thanks to the huge pond and 1 km of private riverside!
