Description

On the French Light Coast, La Côte de Lumière, there are wonderful golden beaches stretching for kilometres, endless dunes, deep forests of oaks and pines, and: Le Domaine de Fontenelles villa park. A delightful holiday destination! Le Domaine de Fonteneless is situated in a wooded area at 8 km from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and 12 km from the beach. The wonderful domain, built in 2006, consists of apartments, terraced holiday homes and detached villas with a private pool. You can rent a bike in Saint Gilles Croix de Vie to explore the surroundings. You can of course, go exploring on horseback, which is delightful through the woods. The golf course, Des Fontenelles, is right next to the park. Or you could choose one of the four other 18-hole courses in the vicinity. You'll find three tennis courts (for a fee) on Le Domaine de Fontenelles. It's wonderful to relax on a lounger by the communal swimming pool with paddling pool. Get tips for the area at the reception. It has Wi-Fi and in July and August, you can order fresh baguettes and croissants. Next to the reception there is a restaurant. You can make use of washing machine and dryer. There is a central parking space. The baker, supermarket and bank are located in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (8 km). The pleasant beach resort of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie is situated between the well-known towns of Les Sables-d'Olonne (27 km) and Saint-Jean-de-Monts (29 km). The picturesque center is known for its labyrinth of narrow streets with white fishermen's houses. There is a pleasant shopping street and a weekly market. In the scenic harbor, you can enjoy a 'plateau fruits de mer' in the lovely seafood restaurants. Or you can sit on a terrace there. The Saint Gilles church is worth a visit as well. On the beaches of La Garenne or Jaunay there are numerous possibilities for water sports. From the harbor, you can take a boat to the island of Ile d'Yeu. The good cycle paths take you through the landscape and past a castle and a museum. But you could also relax on one of the great sandy beaches that the island boasts of! What should really be on your to-do list as well is Ile de Noirmoutier (53 km). There you can take a delightful tour by covered wagon with your family and you could visit the sea aquarium and the castle. You'll make your children happy with a day at the water park in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez (14 km).

At Le Domaine de Fontenelles you get a choice of comfortable, terraced houses, villas and apartments. The houses have a terrace with garden furniture and views of countryside or the golf course. The villas have a spacious private garden with private pool. Most can be heated for an additional fee. The apartments have either a terrace or a balcony. All have a luxurious living room with French patio doors to the terrace and/or garden and a complete open kitchen. Apartment FR-85220-15 has two bedrooms. Both feature a double bed or two single beds. Accommodation upstairs is on a mezzanine with a double sofa bed. There is a bathroom with bath or shower and there is a separate toilet. Apartment FR-85220-21 has two bedrooms. Both feature a double bed or two single beds. Accommodation upstairs is on a mezzanine with a single bed. The villas of type FR-85220-17 have a balcony on the first floor. Villa FR-85220-19 has 4 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has French patio doors. All bedrooms feature a double bed or two single beds. There is a bathroom with a bath or a shower and a separate toilet. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are upstairs. There's a second bathroom with a shower and second toilet. Apartment for 2 to 4 people (FR-85220-20). The living room has been furnished with a double sofa bed and French patio doors which open to the terrace or the balcony. There is a complete open kitchen. There is a bedroom with a double bed.
