Completed in 2016, the 5 Starr Cottage is a state-of-the-art home in a pristine setting. 400 acres large, Crystal Lake is considered one of the cleanest in NH, perfect for watersports of all kinds. The cottage sits just 55' back from the shoreline with waterfront views from every room. For the fishing-inclined, get out on the lake and catch freshwater trout, bass, and more-rods provided. The cottage includes two kayaks, a canoe, two paddleboards, and a horseshoe pitch. The kitchen is fully stocked for even the most discerning chef, with an outdoor gas grill to boot. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a full ensuite bathroom. Two additional rooms both include a double bed with a full bathroom in close proximity. A sleeping loft above the great room fits two additional single beds with a close-by powder room. On warmer nights, take full advantage of a hanging bed in the screened porch area. Skip cleaning off inside, and jump in the outdoor shower. The large, sand-bottom dock area offers protection from the sun's rays with a sprawling umbrella. Near to the dock, the water depth is about 4'. Closer to shore, small children can play in the wading area. Radiant heating and a wood stove are perfect for cooler evenings. Less than 30 minutes from Mount Sunapee and Hanover, Mount Cardigan is 20 minutes away for a moderate hike. The 5 Starr Cottage owners have operated a 5-star rated rental on Homeaway (3003186) and VRBO (421127) since 2012.
