#### Location
Chatel is a charming ski-village on the French-Swiss border that has a lovely, traditional Alpine feel. Its facilities suit all levels of skiers; making it perfect for a family holiday. Amenities are within easy reach, with many restaurants and bars less than 10 minutes away by chauffeur. The apres ski scene is lively, but generally more laid-back than at many of the bigger resorts.

Chalet Tronchey occupies one of the most elevated positions in the whole of Chatel, so the views are simply some of the very best. The chalet's overall position is very privileged too. You're conveniently close to the Super Chatel ski area, which means you can ski right back to the door. The nearest chairlift is just a few minutes away, so your private chauffeur can take you there quickly and easily.

The Super Chatel area offers a selection of beginner and easy runs, with the Pre-la-Joux area having great learner slopes. This area is also ideal for children, with a snow play area and activities such as tobogganing and an interactive winter trail to enjoy. More experienced skiers will also find many slopes to challenge them, with some of the best off piste skiing in the Portes du Soleil area.

Other fun outdoor activities to get involved with include snowboarding, snowshoe walking, ice skating, going on husky rides and sledging. Children can also try their hand at snowman building and tobogganing.
