Description

Combining stylish, modern interiors with a homely atmosphere and magnificent architecture, Villa Eres is a fantastic retreat on the French Riviera – a Mediterranean coast famous for glamorous beach resorts and abundant sunshine. Nestled above the city of Cannes, it makes for a superb base for exploring southern France's Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region in all its glory.
The villa is built on 3 levels and every room inside the villa is bright and spacious, with contemporary furnishings and sleek touches. There are four bedrooms in total, each with its own beautifully tiled bathroom, while the master suite also benefits from a walk-in wardrobe – perfect for helping you choose your holiday outfits for each occasion. Guests can relax in the open-plan living room designed in the shades of ochre earth, with modern decor such as Pop Art work on the walls and art-deco lighting. In addition, even the most discerning of chefs will appreciate the brilliance and top-notch appliances of the large kitchen.
Clad in a rustic Provencal stone, the property has lovely balconies and two terraces where guests can unwind and socialise. The garden is a place you can relax away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life and boasts a mirrored heated pool framed by a suntrap terrace with parasols and sun beds. Host your al-fresco soirees in the bio-climatic pergola or by the summer kitchen, which has a plancha. Big groups will love playing ping pong or exercising on the multi-sport pitch, while others might want to pamper themselves with a therapeutic massage in your private massage room.
In less than 10 minutes by car, you can be wandering around the beautiful city centre of Cannes. There are plenty of things to do and see, such as visiting fancy beach clubs and eating out in five-star restaurants.
Only a 15-minute drive away, Theoule-sur-Mer is tucked away in a small inlet among the rocks of the Esterel Mountains and boasts many vantage spots with incredible views and an abundance of sandy beaches.
If you're looking for a slice of the city-meets-beach life, visit Nice or Antibes for one of your upcoming day trips. While both host an array of ambient restaurants, spectacular beaches and landmarks, they're also great for those interested in history and art.

#### Location
Located in one of Cannes' suburban neighbourhoods, Villa Eres is just a short drive from the historic centre and a 5-minute drive from an excellent sandy beach, Plage du Midi.
A lovely local park full of natural vistas and vantage spots, Parc naturel forestier de la Croix des Gardes, awaits just outside the property, while there are many more hiking and walking trails around, which will reward you with breathtaking views over Cannes. You can continue to the scenic point of Belvedere du Cedres or even visit a charming castle Chateau de la Croix des Gardes.
When you get hungry, the closest restaurant and supermarket are only a 5-minute drive away. Be sure to stop by the picturesque Vieux Port de Cannes marina built in the 1950s and admire the yachts and continue to the Boulevard de la Croisette promenade that winds along the city's public beaches, such as the Croisette Beach Cannes. The beach clubs here might lure you in for cocktails, seafood and music, but more dining options are tucked away in the cobblestone streets, especially around Rue du Bateguier. You can also visit the popular local market Marche Forville for souvenirs and traditional delicacies.
A bit further, Antibes is a resort city loved by history and art lovers, mainly due to its charming old town enclosed by 16th-century ramparts and for hosting an array of museums devoted to Pablo Picasso. Its narrow cobblestone streets adorned with flowers will take you to the area of Vieille Ville, where you can find most of the city's important landmarks, such as the Cathedral Notre-Dame and the Musee Picasso.
Sitting on the pebbly shores of the Baie des Anges, Nice has many museums and galleries, such as Musee Matisse. The historic old town transports you back in time with its medieval charm, narrow streets, open-air markets, and ambient French terrace cafes. Don't miss the Cathedrale Saint-Nicolas de Nice – a byzantine-style place of Orthodox worship and gardens at the site of Tsarevich Nicholas' death.
