Golf carts are a favorite mode of transport in The Villages; Yuma Place is well located, a short golf-cart ride to The Villages' newest town square, Brownwood Paddock square, modeled on the historic Central Florida "Cracker" (cattleman) village. Town squares are a main focus of activities, with countless restaurants offering varied cuisines from burgers to BBQ, Italian to ice cream!. You will discover unique boutique shops, offering that perfect souvenir or unusual shopping experiences. The Barnstorm Theater offers eight screens of the latest films in air-conditioned comfort. The Dog Trot Porch, on the central square, is the center of free nightly (5:00 to 9:00) live music and dancing. Do stop to watch the line dancing, and perhaps join in. It's easy and fun! Saturday mornings in Brownwood you will find the Farmers' Market, with its delicious breads, cheeses, meats and organic produce. Beautiful local crafts are usually on display and for sale. Take time to find the specially-commissioned stunning Florida "Cracker," his horse and his cattle. This is an excellent photo opportunity. Recreation Centers are a second center of free activities, interests and classes. Your Regional "Rec" is Eisenhower Rec, a short golf-cart jaunt away. You will find everything from aerobics to Zumba, swim sports to that Villages' Ball! (Rec centers offer free classes; do try it!) Drop by any rec with your Temp ID and ask for their weekly list of free activities. You will be amazed at what is offered! If your interest is golf, you are golf-cart close to the Executive courses of Sweetgum and Sandhill, and Evans Prairie and Bonifay Country Clubs, with their Championship courses, pro shops and excellent restaurants. The spacious living room has comfortable seating for six and a 60" flat-screen TV. The dining area seats six for formal meals, while the kitchen seats four in the breakfast nook and a further two at the breakfast bar. The master bedroom has a king bed, a large walk-in closet, a flat-screen TV and an en-suite bathroom with dual sink vanity units and a large walk-in shower. Bedroom two features a queen bed and 40" TV, and is adjacent to bathroom two, with its tub and shower combination. Bedroom three is furnished with a queen bed, and is also adjacent to bathroom two. The lovely screened lanai is perfect for morning coffee or an evening Florida sunset BBQ. The large garage has room for two cars, plus a dedicated golf cart garage. All of our properties come with High Speed WiFi internet included. Linens, dishes, cutlery and towels are also supplied for your convenience. Each property has either cable TV or satellite TV available for your enjoyment. With the Village Resident ID card you can use any of the 36 executive golf courses with no greens fees. And these executive golf courses are not your typical "pitch & putts!" They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You pay resident rates on greens fees at the 12 Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis & pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1,000 organized activities every week through the recreation centers.
