Tucked away in the beautiful medieval village of Tremolat this lovely cottage is a haven of peace, with a private garden & 8 x 4 swimming pool, yet in walking distance to the Dordorgne river and some of the most renowned restaurants in the area, one of which being Michelin starred. Superbly situated in the middle of the Dordogne valley it is ideal for visiting the numerous chateaux, historical sites & some of the most beautiful villages in France. The refurbished farmhouse consists of a large, open plan living/ dinning room with a well equipped kitchen at the far end (dishwasher and washing machine are in a separate utility space) and a comfortable sitting room along with a log burning stove & flat screen T.V. From here leads to the first double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room and ample storage space. Also leading from the lounge area is the reading room overlooking the back garden BBQ area with large opening windows which makes dinning al -fresco practical and enjoyable for all. The second double bedroom leads from hear and is situated at the rear of the property again with a private shower room just next door. The entire property is on one level, including the exterior terrace so accessible for those that have mobility requirements. Leading down to the grassed lawn and then onto the pool area there are 5 steps. The village has a shop, bakery and Post office a short walk away and a watersport center. Paunat (7km) stunning village with 16th century Abbey Limeuil (6km) medieval village at the confluences of the Vezere & Dordogne rivers, locals markets, canoe hire, restaurants. Belves (25km) medieval city and Monpazier (28km) beautiful bastide town are all labelled "most beautiful villages of France" are all well worth a visit.
