Welcome to The Nest... a warm and welcoming, yet modern and contemporary, Bend home. It has been newly remodeled in 2017 and is just right for single travelers or couples seeking a special cozy retreat. Tall vaulted ceilings and windows all around make this space light and airy. It has a delightful full kitchen with a touch of class featuring butcher block counters, subway tile, farmhouse sink, and all brand new appliances, making it as much fun to “dine-in” as dine out.
The Nest provides comfortable living space with a large flat screen TV, desk area for work and free Wi-Fi throughout. There is a cute gas fireplace to provide both warmth, romance, and charm as well. The brand new pillow-top king bed guarantees you a great nights rest after a fun Bend day. Start or end the day comfortably in the large walk-in tiled shower behind the sliding barn-wood door, fashioned using up-cycled wood from the original Bend lumber mill.
The practical things like private parking spot, full size washer/dryer, and extra storage area in laundry room make this house just right.
Stroll just three blocks to the Galveston Avenue District and 10 Barrel Brewing Co, the Food Cart Court, bike shops, bakeries and much more. Or hop on the two classic bikes available from Memorial Day through Labor Day and enjoy the sites as you spin. The Deschutes River at Columbia Park is less than a block away and makes for wonderful strolls.
This cottage is a standalone house but it is adjacent to The Cumberland House and can be rented alone or in conjunction with the big house. Great for larger families traveling together that want to be close yet have some privacy as well.
