Its restaurants serve everything from international Thai and Japanese to down-south Florida seafood and New York deli, not forgetting breakfast, lunch, ice cream and donuts! The Old Mill Theater features eight screens of the latest films in air-conditioned comfort. Boutique shops showcase unusual arts, crafts and clothing. The Central Gazebo stages free live music and dancing every night from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Do stop by for the "Drink of the Day" and stay to listen to talented local musicians, perhaps take time to enjoy dancing under the stars! Each square offers a unique "signature spot;" the beautiful boardwalk to Lighthouse Point, the perfect place to enjoy one of our exquisite Florida sunsets, is Sumter's well-loved photo opportunity. Look, also, for the "Historical Facts" dotted around Sumter,  not very historical or very factual, but very funny! Ridgeway Court is a short drive to the large SeaBreeze Regional Recreation ("Rec") Center. Recs offer a myriad of free activities, from art and pottery classes to aerobics and mah-jongg, to swim sports and tennis, to that Villages' obsession, pickleball!  Duval neighborhood pool and rec are conveniently close. Take your Temp ID to any rec and ask for the weekly listings of free activities. You will be amazed at what is offered! If golf is your game, you are close to the neighboring executive courses of Turtle Mound and Yankee Clipper. You are also a short drive from Havana Country Club, with its championship course, pro shop and outstanding restaurants. The beautifully decorated living room comfortably seats six, featuring a queen sleeper sofa for additional guests, and has a large flat-screen TV for a relaxing "evening in." The dining area seats four for formal meals, with breakfast bar seating for an addition four diners. The well-equipped kitchen is complete with everything you need for easy meal preparation. Do, please, remember to find time to try the many excellent restaurants in Sumter Landing and the 100 restaurants within The Villages! The master bedroom has a queen bed, a large walk-in closet, a flat-screen TV and an en-suite master bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom two has twin beds and is adjacent to bathroom two, with its tub and shower combination.  The screened lanai is an excellent and very private spot for morning coffee and the papers or a barbecue in the cool evening breezes. All of our properties come with High Speed WiFi internet included. Linens, dishes, cutlery and towels are also supplied for your convenience. Each property has either cable TV or satellite TV available for your enjoyment. With the Village Temporary Resident ID card you can use any of the 36 executive golf courses with no greens fees. These executive golf courses are not your typical "pitch and putts!" They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You will pay resident rates on greens fees at the 12 Championship courses. You are also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1,000 organized activities every week through the recreation centers.
