This delightfully renovated 18th century sandstone cottage has been brought back to life after years of neglect. Nestled in a tiny hamlet, surrounded by green pastures and oak woodlands famous to the Perigord Noir, this holiday cottage offers a great mix of old and new and and is a great choice for those wishing to relax by a secluded, heated private swimming pool, or visit the numerous local sites open to the public. The original bread oven has been transformed into a architectural feature in the living/ dinning room along with original beams and stone walls throughout. French doors open to the garden on both sides of the property, making it very practical for outdoor meals. The stunning 12th century Romanesque church and Abbey remains are just a short drive to nearby village are a must see ("Most Beautiful Villages of France"). Musical evenings are open to all by reservation only throughout the summer months, and keen walkers are welcomed by the owner to do the 3kms trail by leaving from the rear garden, down into the wooded valley and picking up the public bridleway.
