Description

Neighboring cabins, right on the Sandy River! Perfect place to get away from it all and get the entire gang together! Fishing, wildlife watching, skiing (year round in certain areas of the mountain), snowboarding, snow shoeing, tubing, kayaking, rafting, biking and hiking are just some of the activities you can enjoy at this mountain retreat located at the base of Mt. Hood. Every cabin has been recently remodeled to provide you with a cozy and comfortable stay while in the heart of nature's beauty.

The Space:

These cabins have all been recently remodeled in order to provide our guests some amazing amenities. The two separate cabins provide you with privacy and comfort while enjoying a group trip with family or friends. Each cabin has its own fully stocked kitchen complete with brand new appliances, bathroom and private sleeping accommodations featuring new beds with very comfortable mattresses and new linens. Best of all each cabin has its own private hot tub, deck, grill and fire pit.

Guest Access:

Washer and dryer on site in the big cabin, hot tubs on each deck, 1 fire pit near the cabins and 1 down on the beach next to the Sandy river if the weather/flooding hasn't destroyed the pit.

Interaction with Guests:

There is a lockbox to allow you access to the home and we will give you your privacy but we are available if you need anything.

The Neighborhood:

These cabins are right off the Mount Hood Highway. Many amenities are within 1 mile including restaurants, night life, and a grocery store. We are very close to some of the best spots on the mountain: Ski Bowl is 11 miles and The Meadows Nordic Ski Park and Timberline Ski Slopes are both 18 miles away.

Getting Around:

You will need a car to access all of the local sites.

Other Things to Note:

The river has its highs and lows, in the picture on the listing it is very low and relatively safe to explore, however it gets much higher throughout the winter and spring and has washed away our beach fire pit on several occasions. When it gets higher it is a very fast moving river which can be dangerous if you were to enter it even with a kayak or raft. There are low bridges along the river that could cause you great injury if you attempt to take a kayak or raft into the water. There are also very large boulders that could be hidden from view when the water is higher. We do not recommend any water activities other than enjoying the sights and sounds of the river. There are plenty of safer places to kayak and raft nearby.
