The mountains and forests surrounding you gives plenty of hiking opportunities including the famous Hexensteig. You can visit Baumannshöhle, the Hermannshöhle, the ruins of castle Regenstein, Wernigeröde Palace, and Kyffhäuser. Also explore Brocken, the highest mountain in North Germany. Slopes of Braunlage is exciting for ski lovers. You can find excellent restaurants at 500 m and supermarket at 1 km. There is also a forest at 500 m to enjoy solitude. After a day's adventure you can relax indoors enjoying the warm central heating. The living room has a floor heating and is cosy. There is a barbecue for you to have fun on the terrace. Parking and high chair is also provided. Public transport is at 1 km and train station at 8 km.
