Description

Looking for a unique, down-to-earth vacation experience? Recently taken over by sisters, Denise and Andrea, and converted into a vacation rental that will make you feel right at home, this 6-generational 1800's farmhouse is just the place to go. It has been lovingly restored and simply decorated to retain its charm. Its location on a quiet, dead-end dirt road makes it the perfect get-away. Just a few miles from several small towns that offer lots of activities. Go hiking in the White Mountains, golfing in St. Johnsbury, or shopping in Burlington or Littleton, NH. There are several bodies of water close by for swimming, boating, fishing, and water skiing. We have horse stalls available on the farm. Bring your horses and explore the many miles of dirt roads and woods trails on your own. Or join Denise and Andrea for a guided ride. The farm borders the rail trail, providing convenient access for biking, hiking, x-country skiing, and snowmobiling. There are miles of snowshoe trails throughout the forests surrounding the farm. There is more than enough space for tenting. Set up in the back pasture for a true outdoor experience. Only two miles from the 100-acre Town Forest for exploration on foot, horseback, or by mountain bike.

There is still some farming happening. The family hays the fields in the summer. And, we have recently added a variety of fun animals for people to enjoy. We have two alpacas, two pygmy goats, two rabbits, and two kitties.

You're welcome to bring your dog(s), but they must be friendly towards people and other dogs. We would prefer it if you would bring a dog kennel with you so your dog(s) can be kenneled, especially at night. We will be coming and going, tending animals and working the fields. We will be respectful of your space and privacy. But, you will see us.
