The lounge has a large flat screen TV with DVD player and a dining area with ample space for the most elaborate of meals! The pretty village of Bois de Céné is just over 2kms away and has all services while the large town of Challans is just 10 minutes down the road. 1000 years ago Bois de Céné was on the coastline, now you have to travel 10kms to the sea and the best beaches are around 20kms. A trip across to the lovely island of Noirmoutier is possible at low tide via the Passage du Gois, or, for the less adventurous you can take the (toll free) bridge from which you have spectacular views. The beautiful city of Nantes is 50kms and a great day out for shopping and to visit the attractions. This is a great centre for a couple or small family to explore this superb area.
