Description

Le Claux due Puits enjoys a good and rural location at the border between the popular Vaucluse and the Alpes de Haute-Provence. The beautiful village of Saint-Trinit is nearby and the small park offers a view of the famous Mont-Ventoux. After a beautiful day trip, it's nice to rewind in the wonderful swimming pool (heated to 25 degrees) with children's area (open from May 1st until September 29th; depending on the weather). The area of Le Claux du Puits is also known as 'Le Pays de Sault'. The active holidaymaker could visit the famous Mont-Ventoux, the historical city of Avignon or one of the many typical picturesque Provençal wine villages like Gigondas or Vacqueyras. There's always a nice day market or festival somewhere; it doesn't get any more French than in the Provence. The village of Gordes in the Luberon, built like an eagle's nest, should of course also be visited. At many locations, you can rent mountain bikes and canoes for active excursions. You can also go canoeing (the river Du Toulourenc) and rock climbing and the many small rivers have secluded pebble beaches for a romantic picnic. On to picturesque towns, such as Carpentras (47 km), Malaucène (54 km), Forcalquier (47 km) and Gordes (42 km). Or the old Montbrun (12 km) with its castle and spas. And those who think that larger cities are not that nice, should try visiting Orange (about 70 km)!

Le Claux du Puits is a small-scale holiday park (approx. 10 houses) with an ideal and central location in the popular Provence. The semi-detached house are built in Provencal style around the playful swimming pool. They're all furnished in a rural style and feature a complete kitchenette and a terrace/garden with furniture. We offer the following types: A two-room apartment equipped on the ground floor or with floor for 4 people (FR-84390-04) A semi-detached villa with floor and three rooms for 6 people (FR-84390-05)

• Opening hours (heated) swimming pool: 1 Mai till 1 September from 9 A.M. untill 7 P.M.
