General:
The Da Silva Surfcamp Portugal is a typical Portuguese country house in the middle of nature without any road traffic in the immediate vicinity. The property is surrounded by vast fields and from everywhere you have a fantastic view over the green landscape and a wide valley up to the opposite villages. From the huge sun terrace you can comfortably lie in your hammock and see the blue sea and the beach resort Praia da Areia Branca.
In the evening, you can enjoy a wonderful sunset here. There are several beautiful paths through the landscape to the beach, where you can reach it on foot in about 20 minutes. With the beach cruiser, which you can rent for free from us, you don’t need 10 minutes and by car you can reach the beach in 3 minutes. Although you are so close to the Atlantic Ocean, you have the feeling of being somewhere in the country far away from the hustle and bustle of beach life.
The Space:
The Da Silva Surf Camp Portugal has one double room, one triple room, one terrace room for 2-4 persons, one four-bed room, one seven-bed room and three separate wooden houses (Tiny Houses). In total we have space for 32 people. But this is distributed quite well, as there are many corners and niches in which one can retreat, for example if one wants to read a good book in peace.
The double room, the 3-bed room and the terrace room are on the first floor of the main house and share a bathroom with shower on the ground floor, while the terrace room also has a private toilet. The girl’s 4-bed room is located on the ground floor of the main house next to the cosy fireplace room. The 7-bed room is located in an annex next to the kitchen. The shared rooms each have their own shower room. The 7-bed room also has a warm outside shower.
The communal kitchen, where breakfast is served every morning, is located on the ground floor next to the large covered outdoor area, where the barbecue evenings are also held.
Getting Around:
With the help of our local surf instructors, you can easily learn how to surf. We have the best surfing equipment for all levels and take you to the most beautiful beaches with the best waves in Europe. Besides, you get an intense impression of the Portuguese way of life and culture. Surfing is an exciting game with the forces of nature. At the same time, it is in absolute harmony with nature.
